MADAV is seeking the collaborative effort of all youths, NGOs, CDAs and concerned individuals to walk against Insecurity and Kidnapping within the Ikorodu, Agbowa, Imota axis of Lagos State on Wednesday 17th March 2021.
We see this walk as a move towards a solution to the consistent kidnapping and insecurity ravaging the Nation, especially among the people of Ikorodu, Epe, Imota and its environs.
The essence of this Walk against insecurity and kidnapping is to sensitize the indigenes and residence on the need to be security-conscious and vigilant and also, to call the rulers, security agencies and the government attention to the danger been imposed on the lives of the people.
MADAV can no longer fold its arms and watch while people get kidnapped, ransom collected and sometimes get killed without much intervention from the appropriate authorities. Its time we raise in one voice to put an end to the endangerment of human lifes on our soil.
In the past few weeks MADAV has gathered that Farmers were attacked, sometimes killed, or displaced from their farms.
MADAV in collaboration with concerned Ikorodu Division Youth Initiatives and other concerned groups and individuals in Ikorodu and its environs are calling everyone to join us on the 17th of March 2021 for the “MADAV WALK AGAINST INSECURITY AND KIDNAPPING”.
