MADAV in partnership with StartnowAfrica organised the “Say no to drugs” campaign in conjunction with Alumni Society of Yabatech and Human Development initiative in Lagos, Nigeria.
On Thursday, 3rd October 2019, the event kicked off at the Alumni Hall of YABATECH (Yaba College if Technology) Lagos, Nigeria with a seminar/workshop.
Speakers addressed over 300 students on the impact of depression, rape, drug abuse and violence.
It was followed by “walk against violence”.
MADAV supported the campaign with over 400 customized bottled water in addition to other merchandise already prepared for the campaign.
The event was graced by MADAV’s Minister of Hope; Adesewa Tiamiyu(The Face if Podium), also in attendance were the other Ministers of Help and Ambassadors of MADAV.
Miss Abidemi Atiba represented the founder of MADAV; Ms Titilola Aboyade-Cole(CoachTAC) at the event.
Mrs Olusola Somoye, college Director of Education representing the Commissioner for Education, Folashade Adefisayo; Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya, 2019 ANN, Vice presidential aspirant; Mrs.Adebowale Tayewo, Polytechnic Librarian; Mr. Joe Ejiofor, College P.R.O; Moremi Ojudu, Youth Activist, Lecturer, Dr. Idowu Aneyo and other important personnel were all in attendance.
